It is important to remember that the Dyno is going to exert maximum stress on your engine therefore it is important to check all it’s vitals.
Check oil level and quality of oil.
Check water level.
Check all hoses are tight & there are no water leaks.
Check all the suspension is in good order.
Check drive shafts & U.Js. are sound.
If the car has low ground clearance lift the front suspension to gain extra clearance. (This is simply achieved by giving the front shocks say 10 turns each on the springs.)
